I have the best mom in the Whole Wide World! She has taught me all of the best qualities that I have, Ryan can vouch for that.......being very stubborn, always getting my way, sassy, my OCD when it comes to cleaning are just a few qualities to name. hahaha love ya mom. But it is very true when people say I want to grow up to be just like my mom, for me it is. I have never known someone to be so strong spiritually and physically. My mom has survived Breast Cancer, Muscle Cancer, chemotherapy, radiation, survived raising 4 lovely daughters, and lets all be honest, she has Survived my Dad!!!!! She is such a trooper!
I think my mom is so beautiful. Growing up, I was never really into make-up, lets be honest and I still do not like wearing a whole lot of make-up. Ryan always acts so surprised when I put on JUST Mascara, haha. ANYWAYS, so back to growing up, the only make-up I saw my mom wear was mascara and a little bit of blush. I loved how she was Confident in her own skin. When I did go through a little "girly" phase (more like 24 hours) of maybe wanting to wear make-up, I remember having my sister try to teach me how to wear cover up, powder, blush, eye-liner, mascara, and some eye shadow. I got so frustrated and HATED IT! I tried and tried to wear it and one night I was so frustrated that I went crying to my mom and asked her why I had to wear all this make-up to look pretty. She just laughed and told me that I didn't have to wear anything to look pretty. That was the best thing she could have said to me. My mom's inner beauty has always out shown her outer beauty and I love that about her.
Thanks mom for teaching me what real beauty is! LOVE YA and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
