The BIGGEST Surprise

First of all, where in the world did January and February go?  I cannot believe have fast time has gone.  Anyways, Ryan finished another rotation in Internal Medicine Outpatient and is currently in an Orthopedic Surgery rotation and loving every second of it.  He is staying busy studying and trying to figure out rotations for next year.  I finished another quarter of school and was ready for a week of Spring Break.  I was excited for a much needed restful week with my parents coming down to see me and the "original" plan of going to visit my grandparents in California who are serving a LDS church mission.  I should clarify that that was what I thought the "plan" was.  Ryan and I went to the airport to pick up the parents, but to my surprise all of my sisters were there with the kiddos!!!!  I was shouting with shock and joy, and may have shed a few tears!  I love my family and it is hard to be away from my best friends aka sisters.  It was the Best Surprise I could have asked for.  I guess my family had planned this with Ryan since Christmas and I must say I was totally surprise my sisters could keep it a secret.

It was a good thing I made Ryan help me spring clean since the family was coming.  I have the greatest husband who puts up with my OCD cleaning every now and then.

My parents rented a home, so everyone had enough room.  We had so much playing to do.  The weather was beautiful, mid 70's all week, just what they needed since Idaho had been getting some snow storms.  We played/relaxed a lot in the beautiful sunshine.  The kids enjoyed the pool and all the fun parks around us and of course we hit up the new outlet malls.

We went to a great aquarium in Tempe, the kiddos were running around and loved all the fish.  Pretty sure all the adults had just as much fun.

Ryan had a busy week while everyone was here, but he was able to join us for the evening and dinner. We had to take the family to Oreganos.  Ryan has worked his magic on the little ones and has quite the touch of getting them to sleep.  He will be a good dad someday.

My sisters even let me role play Jillian Michaels a few mornings to get some great exercise in with the sun shining.  We may have had trouble walking the rest of the day, but it was so much fun.

Missing in action is Kindi

It was definitely a fun filled week.  I love my family so much.  It is times like these I realize how much I love and admire my family.  It makes me wish we were closer so we could have more Jillian Michaels workouts.  Thanks family for dropping your busy schedules to come hang out with your "Baby Girl."  This is by far one of my favorite memories, it was so hard to say goodbye to them at the airport.
