Graduation: Part 4

Who would have known that graduation would take so many posts, but I had to post about what we did when all the family was down for graduation besides just the ceremonies.  Both of our families rented homes that were close to us.  The home my parents rented had a huge backyard with a swimming pool, grill, pool table, and so forth so we had many parties there.  We grilled pizzas and hamburgers and spent most of the time in the pool.

My family had a lot of little kids around so we headed to the Anthem Outlets where shopping could be done for the adults and splash pad for the kiddos.

During the days, you could find everyone in the pool, including Abbi!  She loves to swim!

The Finn Family went to Chase Field to go and watch the Diamondbacks.

Since all of us Hess girls were together, which won't happen for awhile again, we threw a little party for my parents for retiring!  My mom retired from teaching 5th grade for 20 years and my father retired from the UPRR after he put in 41 years driving trains!  We had to have red velvet cake with some Rita's ice to top it off.

After the crazy week of celebration, everyone headed home to Idaho.  We were lucky to have the boys stay to help us move all of our stuff into the POD and drive our other car home.  Of course some game time had to go down before the packing could begin.

It was a little hot on moving day to say the least, we were very thankful for the help we had.

It was bittersweet to be moving out of our apartment.  It finally meant that our time in Arizona was over, but the next stop was Idaho for 2 weeks.
